I'm not sure what to think about this story really. I can believe that Simon Cowell might have shown Westlife some footage of James & Edward before they were picked, but what does that really prove? If it's true, it proves that he had noticed them but that's about it. Ah, who knows. I wonder if the whole story will ever come out!

I thought it had always been rigged in some way so this doesn't surprise me. Cowell is all about the money and media coverage = viewers = big bucks so of course he's going to try and influence the votes to ensure the media keeps reporting on X Factor.
Mind, I do like the Metro paper... And the Sun... I'm a gossip whore, I can't help more…
I would never allow myself to look tired either if I had a team of make-up artitsts at my beck and call, a lighting man to make sure I am lit favourably and a camera man ready with the soft focus...
Now I am just off to buy a sixteen blade razor and some turbo chin slap.

Isn't she fantastic? I'm no fan of Robbie Williams, but I loved his reply when he was asked what he thought of her - "I like Stacy - every home should have one"!

In the end i reckon it comes down to the same thing as strictly come dancing and john sargeant, its not a talent show its an entertainment show and they are just out for ratings like you say. I think its hilarious that Jedward are still on there it would be a kick in the teeth for Cowell if they did win, although he'd still make his money maybe not more…
I still watch it every week in spite of the terrible twins! Simon obviously left it to the public vote because he reckoned it would be good for the viewing figures :yes:
I want Stacy to win .....she cracks me up whenever she opens her mouth to say anything after her performance more…
I have to admit to liking the auditions normally but this year even that was spoiled as it went all sort of britains got talentish blergh I think I will be giving it a wide birth from now on :yes: more…
