Tom Baker - anyone seen him in the pub??

I worked in London for most of the Noughties.

Whenever I was anywhere near the Coach & Horses in Soho (quite often, when I worked on Charing Cross Road) I would peer through the window hoping to catch a glimpse of the great man Tom Baker, the ultimate Dr Who and my childhood hero. My friend's brother had been in the Coach & Horses drinking and apparently saw Tom. "Did you say anything to him?" I asked excitedly. "Yeah," he replied "I said get out of the way of the bar will you". Gah!!

I never was lucky enough to see Tom Baker in the Coach & Horses, or anywhere else, but if I do I'll be buying him a drink. Are you reading this Tom??

Tom Baker also wrote the cautionary tale-and-a-half 'The Boy Who Kicked Pigs', so if you spot him buy him a drink from me too and I'll pay you back ...

Never seen him, used to work in a pub where Bill Pertwee and Sean were regulars though x

      I can't say I knew much about Bill Pertwee, but now I've Wikipedia-d him and I see he is a distant cousin of Sean's father the late great Jon. Aha! Although I did recognise Bill from the Carry On films. Anyway. I don't know how that makes Bill related to Sean, I can't figure it out. Distantly I guess!!

        I don't know how they are related just that they drank in the same pub in surrey for a while. Different bars usually and before Sean was famous x
