I used to be massive fan of The Cure back in the day. In an interview Robert Smith admitted that (at that time) they all earned vast amounts of money but felt so guilty about it they gave a lot of it away to charity. Now maybe I'm naive to believe that, but I always remembered that and thought what lovely chaps Robert Smith and his merry Cure men must be.
I can't imagine any of the tossers on that rich list doing that somehow.

Given that they probably have hundreds of homes elsewhere, I can't see them queuing up at the dole/homeless offices any time soon! It is alleged that with all his royalties, Paul McCartney will NEVER be able to spend all the money he has made. I'm sure the government will be able to do it adequately in his stead though. Still, there's no evidence that these rich people will get clobbered - if they don't spend more than six months of every year in Britain, they can body swerve any British taxes...unless the little Darling has taken care of that as well?????

Sir Elton is writing a ballet for premiere with the Alberta Ballet Company. It be perfomed in Calgary first and in Edmonton on May 11. This will be a world premiere. I know the guy had a gazillion dollars, but he is a major talent and if you are that talented...you get paid.
